About the Authors

In this groundbreaking book, three of the foremost specialists in the herpetoculture of these species have joined together to compile and offer the results and understanding of their many years of research.

Philippe de Vosjoli and Frank Fast have discovered several new forms of Rhacodactylus and maintain the largest and most diverse colonies of the giant gecko Rhacodactylus leachianus, outside of New Caledonia. Allen Repashy is an expert herpetoculturist who owns the largest captive-bred colony of Rhacodactylus in the world. He is also responsible for developing the complete powdered Rhacodactylus gecko diets now readily available in the pet trade.

With over 200 photographs, including many by renowned wildlife photographers Bill Love and David Northcott, this is sure to be a major reference on the subject for years to come.
